Offshore Services The enactment of the International Corporate Services Act ensures that all service providers in Seychelles adhere to strict professional standards and are subject to a high level of due diligence prior to the issuance and renewal of a licence. The Seychelles International Business Authority (SIBA) together with its local and international partners is expending considerable resources on the continuous development of the professional expertise available in Seychelles in order to maintain high level service. Financial Services Now standing as the third pillar of our economy, the financial services play an important role in the Seychelles economy and contribute to a significant share of the GDP. The activities of Commercial Banks and Offshore Banks are regulated by the Central Bank of Seychelles. In order to enhance transparency in transactions and to support the liberalisation of the country’s economy, the government has also set up a Non-Bank Financial Services Authority (NBFSA) which regulates insurance, mutual funds and stock exchange under the Mutual Funds Act and the Securities Act. Please visit the SIBA website for a list of downloadable legislations.
